February 14, 2008, Dallas, Texas - The ninth-ranked Tigers jumped out to a lead after the first day of swimming at the 2008 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. DePauw has totaled 251 points, while Trinity is in second with 203 and Centre is third with 199.

The 200-yard freestyle relay of Josh Baugh, Greg Nowak, Kyle Kerrigan and John Cook finished second in 1:25.47 before Baugh earned all-conference honors with a third-place showing in the 200 individual medley.

Rob Alexander wn the 50 free in 20.83 seconds with Cook finishing second in 21.20. The 400 medley relay of Gibb Wallace, Dan DeGeus, Alexander and Cook finished the evening in second in 3:31.30.
