January 12, 2007, Greencastle, Ind. - The ninth-ranked Tigers converted 30 Hendrix turnovers into 44 points on the way to an 87-65 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory over the Warriors. DePauw improved to 13-2 overall and 3-1 in the SCAC and extended its SCAC record home win streak to 28 straight conference wins. Hendrix dropped to 13-2 overall and 3-1 in the SCAC. The loss snapped the Warriors' 10-game win streak.
The Tigers led by as many as eight in the first half before Hendrix closed the halftime gap to 41-38 as both teams shot over 50 percent in the opening 20 minutes. The Warriors took the lead briefly in the second half, but DePauw used a 10-2 run midway through the second half to extend the lead to 64-53 with 9:47 left.
Hendrix scored the next four to close to within seven, but the Tigers scored the next eight to push the advantage to 72-57 with 6:15 remaining.
Cassie Pruzin matched a career high with 19 and nailed 4-of-8 three-pointers. Liz Bondi followed with 17 points and Suzy Doughty added 11 along with seven assists and five steals. Pruzin also paced the Tigers with five rebounds and dished out five assists.
Tori Huggins led Hendrix with 17 points, while Bonnie Hicks added 16 and Samantha Clark followed with 10 and a team-high seven rebounds. Amanda Morris dished out six assists in the loss.
DePauw shot 51.5 percent from the floor, while Hendrix hit 52.7 percent, but the Tigers knocked down seven three-pointers to the Warriors' one.
