March 1, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - The seventh-ranked DePauw women's tennis team opened the spring portion of its season with an 8-1 win over visiting Hope at the Indoor Tennis and Track Center.

The Tigers won all three doubles matches before winning at first through fifth singles.

DePauw hosts Denison at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, and Washington (Mo.) at 4 p.m.
