October 2, 2006, Springfield, Ohio - Top-seeded Liz Bondi defeated Meghan Damico of Denison by a 6-0, 6-4 score in the finals of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Singles Championship.

Bondi also teamed with Amrita Padda as the top-seeded doubles duo and won the doubles title by a 6-1, 6-1 score over teammates Greer Mackie and Connie Shim.

Bondi and Padda will represent DePauw and the Central Region at the ITA Small College Championships in Fort Myers, Fla., on October 12 through 15.
