September 13, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - The DePauw women's tennis team opened the 2005-06 season by hosting the DePauw Invitational and took titles at all three singles flights and at number two singles in the unscored tournament.

Connie Shim and Erin Andrade swept through the number one spot, while Alex Nelson and Betsey Flanzer won all their matches at number two doubles. The team of Laura Link and Kim Stowers were unbeaten at three doubles. Flanzer was victorious at number two singles. The Tigers also finished second at first, fifth and sixth singles.

The Tigers host the University of Indianapolis this afternoon at 4 p.m.
