February 27, 2005, Memphis, Tenn. - The 14th-ranked DePauw women's basketball team trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half and got no closer than nine over the final 20 minutes in an 84-70 loss to Trinity in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament championship game.

DePauw dropped to 23-5 on the season and awaits word of a possible NCAA Pool C bid to the Division III Championship. Trinity improved to 23-4 and earned automatic qualification into the Division III Championship.

Amy Argetsinger led DePauw with 20 points, while Sarah Zondor added 18, but it wasn't enough as the Tigers shot jsut 40 percent from the floor, while Trinity connected on 51.5 percent.

Tara Rohde led Trinity with 28, while Amy Howe added 24 and Jenna Smith 12. Smith led Trinity with nine rebounds, while Lauren Andrews dished out 10 assists.
