November 30, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Host Wabash outscored DePauw 9-1 over the final two minutes to take a 68-57 win in the 186th meeting between the two schools. The Tigers dropped to 2-3 on the season, while Wabash improved to 3-3 and snapped DePauw's seven-game win streak in the rivalry with its first win since November 30, 1998. The Tigers lead the all-time series, 112-73-1.

The Tigers led by as many as eight in the first half after Reid Sakel's three-pointer with 6:04 left capped a 5-0 run. The Little Giants scored the next seven on a jumper and three-pointer by Adonis Joseph and a layup from Michael Woods. Wabash took its first lead of the game with 2:20 remaining in the half on Brian Maloney's bucket before the teams went to the intermission tied, 28-28.

Kyle Coffey hit a basket and Kyle Medeiros buried a three just 43 seconds into the second half giving Wabash a lead it would not reliquish. After DePauw knotted the score at 35-35, the Little Giants extended the margin to eight on a couple of occasions before the Tigers closed to within two at 53-51 with 5:08 left.

Coffey and Caleb Lyttle each hit a pair of free throws to make it 57-51 with 3:05 remaining. The teams exchanged baskets before Alex Stewart buried a three with 2:11 left to close the gap to 59-56. Wabash missed on its next possession but grabbed two offensive rebounds before Coffey hit two charity tosses with 1:28 remaining to push the lead to 61-56.

The teams then exchanged free throws before Joseph hit a trey with the shot clock running down to make it 65-57 with just 32 seconds left. DePauw committed turnovers on its final two possessions and the hosts converted them into three points to preserve the victory.

DePauw shot just 34.5 percent for the game and connected on just 13 of 23 free throws, while Wabash shot 41 percent from the floor and nailed 13 of 16 at the line.

Sakel was the only Tiger in double figures with 11. Medeiros paced Wabash with 19 including 12 in the second half, while Coffey scored all 10 of his points in the second half and grabbed 10 of his game-high 12 boards in the final 20 minutes. Joseph added 10 in the win. The Tigers held a narrow 40-39 advantage on the boards with Austin Brown hauling down six.
