Memphis, Tenn. - Amy Argetsinger scored 18, Tria Yoder added a career-high 16 and Colleen Powers chipped in 12 to lead DePauw to an 80-54 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference win at Rhodes. DePauw, ranked 18th in the coaches poll and 21st by D3hoops.com, improved to 11-3 overall and 2-1 in the SCAC, while Rhodes dropped to 8-6 and 2-2.
Rhodes scored the game's first two points, but it was all DePauw from that point forward. The Tigers held Rhodes to just 22 percent shooting from the floor in the first half and led by as many as 32 points on the way to a 45-18 halftime advantage. The margin reached as many as 36 points in the second half.
The Tigers shot just under 43 percent for the game, while Rhodes connected on only 32 percent. DePauw held a 51-24 advantage on the boards with Lindsay Houin grabbing 10 and Mandy Harrison equaling a career high with nine. Rene Orth paced Rhodes with 12 points and Crystal Jessee grabbed seven rebounds. Harrison dished out six assists to lead the Tigers.
