Greencastle, Ind. - Brooke Warner's layup with six seconds left gave visiting Thomas More a 65-63 win over 21st-ranked DePauw. The Tigers had a chance at the buzzer, but Tria Yoder's three-point attempt was off the mark. DePauw dropped to 7-2 with the defeat which snapped their seven-game win streak, while Thomas More improved to 10-2 with its fifth straight victory.

Amy Argetsinger's layup with 2:56 remaining gave DePauw a 61-56 lead, but the Tigers would score just two points the remainder of the game. Jodi Schroeder hit a three just 10 seconds later to cut the margin to two and, Warner's layup off of Amanda Hoffman's steal tied the game at 61-61 with 2:13 left.

Argetsinger put DePauw ahead 63-61 on a layup with 1:24 remaining and, after the teams exchanged turnovers, the Saints tied the game again on Warner's jumper with 33 seconds left. A DePauw turnover gave the ball to Thomas More with 25 seconds remaining. Following a timeout, the Saints ran the clock down before Hoffman found Warner open for the game-winner.

After trailing by as many as six in the first half, the Tigers rallied with a 6-0 run at the end of the half to take a 25-24 lead at the intermission. DePauw stretched the margin to as many as seven on two ocassions, but each time the Saints battled back to either tie the game or take the lead.

"We have to take care of the ball better than that," DePauw head coach Kris Huffman said. "Thomas More is a good team, but we didn't put forth much of an effort tonight."

Joanna Bess paced Thomas More with a game-high 18, while Warner finished with 16 including 10 in the final five minutes. Argetsinger paced four DePauw double-figure scorers with 17, while Sarah Zondor added 16 and Yoder and Suzy Doughty each scored 10.

The Tigers committed a season-high 27 turnovers that led to 31 Thomas More points. DePauw committed 16 of those turnovers in the second half to negate their 64 percent shooting from the floor, The Tigers held a 31-28 advantage on the boards with Lindsay Houin grabbing seven. Hoffman paced the Saints with eight.

DePauw returns to action on Monday, December 29, when it faces undefeated Hope in the Kalamazoo Klassic at 6 p.m.
