Memphis, Tenn. - Dana Ferguson posted career-high totals of 27 points and 16 rebounds and scored the Tigers' first five points of overtime to lead to DePauw to a 77-71 win in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opener for both teams.

The 21st-ranked Tigers improved to 9-2 with their fourth straight win, while the Lynx fell to 4-5.

Rhodes held a 56-49 lead after Taylor Cook's three-pointer with 4:48 left in regulation and still led by six after Cook's basket with 3:34 left made it 59-53. Tria Yoder and Sarah Zondor knocked down back-to-back treys to tie the score at 59-59 with 2:14 left and Jill Schneider's bucket with 1:37 left capped off an 8-0 run and put the Tigers ahead 61-59.

Rachel Hettinger tied the game with two free throws with 1:07 remaining in regulation and Ferguson knocked down a pair with 43 seconds left to give the Tigers the lead at 63-61. Anna Kizer's two charity tosses with 28.5 seconds remaining knotted the score at 63-63. Zondor's three-pointer with time winding down was off the mark and the teams went to an extra session.

Kizer put Rhodes ahead in the overtime with a basket 10 seconds in, but the Tigers scored the next 10 to take a 73-65 lead with 1:33 left. The Lynx got no closer than four the rest of the way. DePauw hit all five free throw attempts in the overtime including four from Erin Miller.

The teams battled through a tight first half that included four ties and four lead changes. Rhodes led by as many as four early before the Tigers went on a 10-2 run to take a four-point lead. DePauw gained its biggest advantage of the half at 29-23 on Kim Weigle's basket with 2:53 remaining in the half.

Schneider was the Tigers' other double-digit scorer with 10. Kizer paced Rhodes with 19 points followed by Cook with 16 and Hettinger with 14. Rosemary Boner grabbed a team-high eight rebounds and dished out eight assists in the loss.
