Conway, Ark. - Tria Yoder scored a career-high 13 points, while Amy Argetsinger added 12 and Sarah MacKay followed with 10 as the Tigers improved to 8-2 overall and 3-0 in the SCAC with a 68-54 victory at Hendrix. The win was the Tigers' seventh straight. Hendrix slipped to 5-5 overall and 1-2 in the SCAC.
The Tigers trailed just once at 1-0 and led by as many as 14 in the first half before the Warriors scored the final six points of the opening 20 minutes to cut the DePauw halftime margin to 25-17.
Hendrix closed the gap to two on several occasions in the second half before the Tigers went on an 8-0 run midway through the half to take a 52-42 advantage. That lead reached as many as 12 in the closing minutes.
The Tigers shot 62 percent from the floor in the second half and held the Warriors to just 36 percent for the game. DePauw held a commanding 48-25 advantage on the boards.
Kim Weigle dished out five assists and MacKay totaled four, while Jill Schneider grabbed a game-high nine boards. Abby Mowrey led the Warriors with 17 points followed by Hannah Ketter with 11.
The Tigers travel to Rhodes for a Monday afternoon contest with the Lynx.
