Hillsdale, Mich. - DePauw senior Noah Droddy competed at the Hillsdale College Gina Relays and bettered the school's 10,000-meter run school record by 40 seconds.

Droddy finished fifth in 29:41.42 and there was only one Division III time faster prior to this weekend's meet. The performance broke DePauw's school record of 30:21.82 by Graham Wellman at the 2005 Gina Relays.

The rest of the Tigers compete tomorrow at the Bellarmine Classic in Louisville.
