Annie Bourne joined the DePauw University women's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach in August of 2015.

Career Highlights

  • Since the winter of 2015 Bourne has helped lead the Tigers to post four winning seasons, all of which continued the long tradition of single-digit loss totals.
  • In 2016, 2017, and 2019 the Tigers were NCAC tournament champions
  • Helped lead teams from the 2016-17 season through the 2018-19 season to become NCAC regular season champions
  • Bourne has helped the Tigers continue to make it the NCAA Division III Championship since joining the coaching staff

Academic and Athletic Highlights

  • Earned a Bachelor of Arts in kinesiology from Southwestern University (Texas)
  • Four-year varsity letter winner
  • Holds career records for rebounds (1,178), rebounds per game (11.2) and rebounds per tournament games (12.1) in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC)
  • Holds the single-season record in rebounds (356) and the single tournament rebound avarage (16.5 -2015)
  • Bourne is also the third person in the SCAC to have recorded 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds
  • In her senior season she was named SCAC First-Team, SCAC Defensive Player of the Year and SCAC All-Tournament Team, while guiding her team to the SCAC championship
  • Average 11.4 points and 12.7 rebounds in 33 minute per game her senior year 
  • Shot 50.2 percent from the floor and 31/4 percent from three point range in her 2014-15 season
  • Posted 14 double-doubles on the year (2014-15)
  • Named d3hoops.com All-South Region Third Team
