Shea Davisson

Shea Davisson was named the DePauw head women's swimming and diving coach and aquatics director in August 2016.

Career Highlights

  • Named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Swim Coach of the Year in 2019 after leading DePauw to its highest point total at the NCAC Championships in program history
  • Prior to coming DePauw Davisson served as Olivet College's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach since 2014
  • She also instructed a semester-long motor learning and control course as well as lifeguard training courses
  • She served as the assistant men's and women's swimming coach at Southwestern (Texas) University for three years

 Academic and Athletic Highlights

  • Earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at The College of Wooster
  • Earned a Master of Science degree in kinesiology with a focus in sports psychology and motor behavior from the University of Tennessee
  • Served as a graduate assistant in the Thornton Athletics Student Life CEnter
  • A four-year varsity letter winner with the Fighting Scots
  • After graduating from The College of Wooster Davisson was the assistant swimming coach at Moon Valley Aquatic club in Phoenix, Ariz.
  • Davisson is also a member of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
