Kristina Corona

Kristina Corona was named the DePauw head women's soccer coach in January 2018.

A 2009 Tulsa University graduate, Corona served as head coach at the University of Dallas for three seasons with a 30-26-4 record. Prior to her arrival, the Crusaders had won a combined seven games in the previous three seasons. Corona's teams finished 7-11-1, 11-7-2 and 12-8-1. The second winningest coach in program history, Corona was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2012.

From there, she stayed in the SCAC to coach four seasons at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Her teams compiled a 20-37-3 mark.

In 2014, she was recognized by the then National Soccer Coaches Association in their "30 Under 30" program and was an NSCAA Class of 2015 Rising Star honoree.

In the spring of 2016, Corona moved on to NCAA Division II Florida Southern College where she served as an assistant coach for the 2016 season. Since then she has served as a professional coach in Iceland.

Corona earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Tulsa and is working toward a Master of Arts in Teaching from Florida Southern. As a student-athlete, Corona played three years at Tulsa before her career was cut short by injury. During her time with the Golden Hurricane she was a member of the Conference USA All-Academic Team.

She also played two seasons and served as an assistant coach for the Fort Worth Panthers in the Women's Premiere Soccer League, and held a United States Soccer Federation National "B" coaching license prior to earning a National A-Youth License in the spring of 2018.
