Cristin Allen accepted DePauw University's women's soccer head coaching position in July of 2019.

Career Highlights

  • In her first year with the DePauw Tigers Cristin led the team to a 12-6-2 record
  • The Tigers were named North Coast Athletic Conference regular-season champions 
  • Named the 2019 NCAC Coach of the Year
  • Head coach of the Franklin College women's soccer team for two seasons
  • While with the Grizzlies the teams posted a 22-14-1 record
  • In 2017 the 14-5 Grizzlies won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament title
  • Winning the HCAC tournament title led to the programs first appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship
  • In 2016 briefly served as an assistant coach for DePauw
  • From 2005-10 Allen was the assistant women's soccer coach and recruiting coordinator at Vanderbilt University
  • Coached at Goucher College (2004-05) and Saint Cecilia Academy (2002-04)
  • Has over 15 years experience at the club and travel level
    • In 2009 named both the Tennessee Competitive Coach of the Year and the Brentwood (Tenn.) Soccer Club Coach of the Year
    • Led the Brentwood Premier Girls team to three straight Tennessee state titles and three regional quarterfinal appearances

Academic and Athletic Highlights

  • Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Belmont University 
  • Served as captain her senior season, while earning All-Atlantic Sun honors
  • Named an All-Ohio Valley Conference choice as a junior
  • Still holds the school career records for points (75) and assists (31) and is tied for second with 22 goals
  • Her ten assists in 2001 remain a school record as she owns three of the top four single-season assist totals in school history
  • Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors in 2001
  • Inducted into Belmont's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014
