Cameron Tucker joined the DePauw University women's basketball coach as an assistant coach in August of 2015.

Career Highlights

  • From 2014-15 Tucker spent a season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women's basketball program at Southeast Missouri State University (Cape Girardeau, Mo.).
  • While at Southeast Missouri State, he signed five recruits, including three ranked in ESPN's top 300, and also oversaw the program's budget.
  • Served as a head coach at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) where he led the team to a tie for fifth in the United Kingdom and an appearance in the Elite Eight of the national tournament
  • Has also coached at Houston Baptist University (Texas) from 2012-13, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010-12, Warner University (Fla.) from 2007-08 and Ball State University from 2006-07.
  • Served as a national evaluator for Blue Star Basketball (2012-14) and was the assistant coach for the men's and women's programs at New Castle (Ind.) High School.

Academic Highlights

  • Earned a Bachelor of Arts in history at Ball State University 
  • Earned a Master of Arts in physical education with a coaching specialization at Ball State
  • Began his undergraduate work at the University of Iowa where he was a student manager for the Hawkeyes' men's basketball program
