Biography
2011-12 (sophomore):
- All-NCAC in 200 Individual Medley, 200 Medley Relay, 200 Butterfly, and 400 Medley Relay.
- Finished 3rd in 200 IM (1:52.92), 3rd in 400 Medley Relay (3:22.15), 3rd in 200 Medley Relay (1:32.23), 3rd in 200 Butterfly (1:51.53) and 5th in 100 Butterfly (49.86) at NCAC Championships
- All-American Honorable Mention in 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay.
- Finished 12th in 400 Medley Relay (3:23.90), 16th in 200 Medley Relay (1:33.63), 28th in 100 Butterfly (50.40) and 37th in 200 Individual Medley (1:54.47) at NCAA Championships.
2010-11 (freshman):
- All SCAC in 200 Butterfly, 200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay
- Finished 1st in 200 Butterfly (1:52.35), 1st in 200 Individual Medley (1:55:28), 1st in 200 Medley Relay (1:34.10), 1st in 400 Medley Relay (3:26.09), 3rd in 100 Butterfly (51.15) at SCAC Championships
High School:
- A four-year letterwinner at New Albany
- A five-time all-American
- Named all-Ohio 10 times during his career
- A member of the state champion 200-meter freestyle relay team his senior season
- Also recorded a third-place finish in the state in the 100 butterfly and 11th place in the breaststroke as a senior
- Winner of his team's coaches' and most valuable awards
