Brian Wright was named DePauw's interim men's swimming and diving head coach in November 2023.
 
  • Is in his 10th year as a faculty member in the Kinesiology department.
  • Prior to taking this role at DePauw he was head swim coach at Austin College for five years and a club swim coach in Bloomington, Indiana while completing his PhD in Human Performance. 
  • Brian’s specialty as an academic relates to quantifying competitive training in athletes and he worked as a member in the Counsilman Center for the Science of Swimming as a student at Indiana University.
  • Is a former Division III athlete and prior to the 2020 season spent time regularly assisting with the DePauw swimming and diving teams.
