Blake Lehmann

Blake Lehman, a 2016 DePauw graduate, returned to his alma mater for a second stint as an assistant coach in April 2020.

  • Served as a volunteer assistant coach at Division I Princeton University for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
  • Was a men's assistant swimming and diving coach at DePauw during the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
  • As a senior, Lehmann helped DePauw to a 22nd place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships and became the first Tiger to earn all-America honors in two events in the same Championship including the program's best individual finish of fourth in the 100 fly. He also was an honorable mention all-America in the 100 free. 
  • Lehmann also was selected to the Scholar All-America team with a semester grade point average of at least a 3.50, while participating in the NCAA Championships. In all, 853 student-athletes from all collegiate levels earned the honor.
  • He also earned all-America honors as a junior in the 100 fly, 200 free relay and 400 free relay. That year he broke the school records in the 100 back, 100 fly and the 100 free.
  • He earned all-conference honors in each of his four years and was an All-American in the 400 free relay in his first two years as well.
  • Lehmann is a native of Champaign, Ill.
