Jordan Niespodziany

Jordan Niespodziany returned to his alma mater in September of 2024 after a six-year stint as an assistant at Wabash College.

PRIOR TO DEPAUW
  • Upon graduating from DePauw he was the assistant director of athletics communications for two years at his alma mater while also volunteering as an assistant baseball coach for the Tigers
  • In 2014, DePauw won four straight games after dropping the opener in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament to advance to the NCAA Division III regional where they won two games including a victory over top-ranked Webster.
  • Obtained a Master of Recreation and Sport Management degree from Indiana State in May 2015
  • He continued as the Tigers' pitching coach until June 2018.
  • The 2017 Tigers posted a 33-13 record for the second-most victories in program history and won two games in the NCAA Division III regional.
  • In July 2018 Niespodziany joined the Wabash staff where he was also the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator
  • The South Bend, Ind., native served as a camp counselor and coach at the University of Notre Dame Baseball Camp and previously served as a summer coach for the South Bend Sultans.

COLLEGE CAREER
  • Earned honorable mention all-North Coast Athletic Conference as a senior after posting a 4-2 record with a 3.32 ERA
  • Led the 2013 team in wins and ERA
  • Missed his sophomore and junior seasons after battling back from injuries.
  • Earned a bachelor's degree from DePauw while majoring in computer science
  • As a student he was a first-year resident assistant as a sophomore and a community resources assistant during his junior year.
