The DePauw women’s basketball program prides itself on hard work, fair play, high standards and experiences of opportunity, excellence and togetherness on and off the court. Following are some of the program’s achievements in the last 25 years:
  • National Champions: 2007, 2013 - DePauw is one of six schools to win at least two Division III championships in women’s basketball
  • Three Final Four appearances: 2002, 2007, 2013
  • First NCAA Division III women’s basketball team to finish a season (2013) at 34-0
  • Overall record under Coach Huffman: 680-132 (.837 winning percentage)
  • Conference record under Coach Huffman: 370-37 (.909 winning percentage)
  • 22 NCAA Championship appearances
  • 18 consecutive NCAA Championship appearances which is the longest current Division III streak
  • 21 Conference Championships
  • Coach Huffman named national coach of the year three times.
  • Coach Huffman named conference coach of the year 14 times.
  • NCAA Postgraduate Scholars (Susan Bender 1999; Alex Gasaway 2014; Sydney Kopp 2020)
  • NCAA Elite 89 academic award winner (Hannah Lukemeyer 2013)
  • NCAA Division III Academic All-America® of the Year (Sydney Kopp 2020)
  • Several hours of community outreach and thousands of dollars in charitable giving
