Chicago, Ill. -Â DePauw women's soccer fell 4-0 to North Park on Sunday afternoon.
North Park set the tone early, tallying three goals in the first half and outshooting DePauw 8-2.Â
The Tigers battled to get on the board, registering five shots with two on target, but were held scoreless by a strong North Park defense. Goalkeepers Aubree Empie and Marley Ball kept recorded two saves each, finishing with four overall.
In the 87th minute, North Park added an insurance goal to make it 4-0. The Vikings closed out the match to raise their overall record to 2-1 on the season, while DePauw dropped to 2-1.
Sophia Patrey led the Tigers by tallying three shots, one on goal. DePauw will look to regroup as they head into Wednesday's matchup on the road against Hanover at 5:00 p.m.
