Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw sophomore
Daisy Williams (Bunker Hill, Ind./Maconaquah) has been chosen North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Golf Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic.
Williams shared the individual lead in the 131-player field with a one-under 143 (69-74). On the way to her three-under 69 in the opening round, Williams finished with five birdies. Her nine birdies overall led the tournament. DePauw finished sixth among the 20 teams at the tournament.
The Tigers return to action Sept. 28-29 at The Tartan Invitational hosted by Carnegie Mellon at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pa.
