Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw split its two Saturday matches and earned its first North Coast Athletic Conference win of the season. The Tigers blanked Wittenberg, 7-0, before falling to Ohio Northern, 7-0, to move to 6-11 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
Against Wittenberg, DePauw earned the doubles point with a pair of 6-0 wins at the number-one team ofÂ

Briah O'Neal defeated Marin Summers and Celeste Hartings and the second doubles tandem ofÂ
Elle Loch and
Allie Stamm topped Elisabeth Josellis and Myla Stanley.Â
Katie King and
Ayden Zinkovich won by default at third doubles.
In singles play, King was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Summers at the first spot with Loch blanking Hartings 6-0, 6-0 at the number-two spot.
At third singles, O'Neal was a 6-1, 6-2 victor over Josellis with Stamm taking a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Stanley at number four.
Abby Short and
Ava Lehmkuhler won by default at the fifth and sixth positions.
Against 27th-ranked Ohio Northern, the Tigers dropped all nine matches.
DePauw returns to action on Friday, April 10, with a 4:30 p.m. match at Ohio Wesleyan.
