Greencastle Ind. - DePauw's women's track and field team competed in the Rose Hulman Early Bird Invitational, finishing 2nd out of 6. Women finished with 158.5 points in the 19 events scored, trailing Concordia (Wis.) (161.5), but leading Rose-Hulman (135.5) and St. Mary-of-the-Woods (114).
18 Tigers walked away with a combined 28 top-10 finishes in 14 different events, including five first-place finishes.
Liberty Scott broke the 400 meter hurdles program record and facility record with a new time of 1:01.40, claiming the top time in the country in the event.
Shelby Stall rewrote the program records for the 100 meter dash (12.17) and the 200 meter dash (24.62). Her 200 meters is 2nd in the country while her 100 meters is 9th.
Other nationally ranked performances include Estella Salyers (37th, 200 meters), Emma Gray (13th, 100 meter hurdles) (34th, 400 meter hurdles), Hovda, Salyers, Croy, Loera (18th, 4x400 relay), Tessa Kochert (17th, triple jump), and Molly Stevener (49th, javelin).
