Allie Stamm and
Ava Lehmkuhler defeated Brenna Atchison and Reagan Cox 6-2 score before the number-one team of
Katie King and
Elle Loch clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 victory over Ailyn Hendricks and Emma Tranter. The second doubles duo of
Valerie Doherty and
Ayden Zinkovich were 6-2 winners over Emma Sappenfield and Eleanor Stillabower.
In singles play, Stamm came off first after a 6-0, 6-1 win over Stillabower at the fourth spot before
Abby Short won at fifth singles by a 6-1, 6-1 score over Sappenfield.
Doherty clinched the team win after defeating Cox at third singles 6-0, 6-2. Lehmkuhler topped Atchison at the sixth position by a 6-2, 6-2 count before Loch was a 6-3, 6-4 victor over Tranter at second singles. King came from behind to win at first singles by a 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, 1-0 (10-4) score.
DePauw returns to action on Saturday, March 7, with a pair of matches in Memphis, Tenn., as the Tigers face Rhodes and North Carolina Wesleyan.
