Liberty Scott (Jr., Galveston, Ind./Lewis Cass) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Track and Field Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Heartland Invitational and the Wittenberg Invite.

At the Heartland Invitational on Friday, Scott placed 14th in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.87 seconds. Scott won the 60 hurdles at the Wittenberg Invite in a program-record 8.74 seconds after running the top prelim time in 8.80. She placed third in the 60-meter dash in a time of 7.97 seconds after running 7.96 in the prelims. She also was second in the 200 meters in 26.13.
The Tigers compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. Scott enters with the sixth-fastest 60 hurdles time in Division III and the top one in the NCAC.
