Tigers Top Firebirds

Racine, Wis. - After winning the doubles point, DePauw took three of the six singles matches to earn a 4-3 victory over Carthage. The Tigers moved to 2-3 on the season, while the Firebirds dropped to 5-2.

The Tigers took the doubles point as the number-one duo of Finley Buelte and William Cramer were 6-4 winners over Finnian Morris and Diego Silva, while the number-three tandem of Thomas Hargreave and Scott Anderson topped Francisco Silveira and Ethan Foucheaux by a 6-4 score.

In singles play, Buelte defeated Silveira 6-3, 6-3 at the first spot while Scott Anderson was a 6-1, 7-6 (7-1) winner at second singles. Cramer topped Victor Pimenta 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (11-9) at the sixth position.

DePauw hosts North Central tomorrow at 3 p.m.
