Gambier, Ohio - DePauw outscored Kenyon, 26-10, in the third quarter and pulled away from the Owls in a 72-43 North Coast Athletic Conference victory. The Tigers improved to 14-9 overall and 7-5 in conference with their third straight win, while Kenyon dropped to 6-17 overall and 1-11 in league play.
The Tigers took a 32-23 lead into halftime and then hit 12-of-17 field goals in the third period to push the lead to as many as 25 points. DePauw led by as many as 31 in the closing minutes.
Olivia Hart scored a career-high 22 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and recorded three steals to lead the Tigers.
Lily Huntzinger followed with 15 points and four assists, while
Hannah Lach match a career high with 12 points and
Riley Mont added 11.
Kiana Mollabashy paced Kenyon with 11 points with Rae Oberster grabbing five rebounds and Susannah Zimmerman dishing out three assists.
The Tigers shot 41.4 percent from the field to Kenyon's 33.9 percent and held a 50-32 rebounding edge for a 19-6 advantage in second-chance points.
DePauw returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 18, when it hosts Ohio Wesleyan at 6 p.m.
