Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 12-4 overall and 2-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-20) win over Wooster. The Fighting Scots dropped to 7-9 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
Wooster held a 12-11 lead in the opening set before DePauw rattled off 13 straight points to take control and grab a 1-0 lead. The second set was tied 5-5 before the Tigers went on a 9-2 run to take the lead for good. The teams were tied 13-13 in the final set before DePauw scored five straight on the way to the win.
Madeline Ozersky led DePauw with nine kills with
Julia McWaters totaling 24 assists.
Addison Hooker and
Sophia Leonardi each had two aces with Hooker recording 11 digs.
Jen Proeh and Ozersky had two blocks apiece.
Caitlin Walsh-Knouff led Wooster with 10 kills and Emma Fleck had 11 assists. Catherine Muzilla had a team-high 14 digs with Tamarra Talbert totaling two blocks.
DePauw hit a season-high .330 to Wooster's .129 and the Tigers held a 41-30 edge in kills. The Tigers also held an 8-2 edge in aces.
The Tigers travel to Millikin tomorrow for a 12 p.m. CDT match against Albion and a 2 p.m. CDT meeting with Carroll (Wis.).
