Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw's women's track and field team claimed first at the Larry Cole Friday Night Spikes Opener hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Friday. Women finished with 212 points, followed by Rose-Hulman (149) and Franklin (64).
27 Tigers walked away with a combined 37 top-10 finishes in 12 different events, including a seven place finishes: Grace Flores (1 Mile), Olivia Ford (Shot Put), Liberty Scott (60-Meter Hurdles), Shelby Stall (60 Meters and 200 Meters), Grace Thomas (3,000 Meters), and Courtney Powell, Lily Hovda, Scott, and Stall (4x400 Meter Relay).Â
Stall won both individual events she competed in. The Tigers swept the 200-meter dash.Â
