Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw's men's track and field team competed in the Larry Cole Friday Night Spikes Opener hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Friday. Men finished third with 138 points in the 15 events scored, trailing Rose-Hulman (155) and Wabash (149) while leading Franklin (44) and Anderson (Ind.) (32).
24 Tigers walked away with a combined 29 top-10 finishes in 12 different events, including four first place finishes: Dylan Connor (Long Jump), Ian Porter (3,000 Meters), Jacob Sandlin (60-meter hurdles and 200 meters).
Sandlin won both individual events he competed in and set a new school record for the 60-meter hurdles (8.05). The Tigers swept both the 60-meter hurdles and 200 meter dash.
