Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw moved to 4-3 on the season after sweeping Saturday's matches by a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-15) score against Trine and then a 3-1 (25-13, 20-25, 25-14, 25-20) victory over Greenville at the DePauw Invitational.
In the Trine match,
Kaiden Harrington led the Tigers with 10 kills and
Kendall Herrick totaled 14 assists with
Julia McWaters adding 13.
Grace Myers had four aces and 19 digs with
Jen Proeh leading with four blocks.
Julia Maggio paced Trine with nine kills and two aces with Anna Zellers finishing with 11 assists. Jordan Budzinski had a match-high 12 digs, while Kylie Rowland, Emmaline Leatherman and Elli Baker each had two blocks.
DePauw outhit Trine, .162-.010, and held a 35-27 edge in kills. The Tigers also led in aces, 8-2.
Against Greenville,
Madeline Ozersky led DePauw with 13 kills with Herrick finishing with 19 assists. Herrick and
Belle Shelton each totaled four aces. Myers had a team-high 26 digs and Proeh had seven blocks.
Kennedy Legendre paced Greenville with 13 kills with Emma Ratermann leading with 31 assists and three aces. Claudia Bonacorsi had 17 digs and Mia Dejesus, along with Lainey Hicks, had three blocks.
DePauw outhit the Panthers, .190-.085, with Greenville leading in kills, 45-41. Proeh and Myers were DePauw's representatives on the all-tournament team which is listed below.
