Hanover, Ind. - DePauw opened play at the Hanover Invitational with a 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-18) win over Blackburn. The Tigers improved to 5-4, while the Beavers dropped to 3-3.

Jen Proeh paced DePauw with eight kills each, while
Julia McWaters led the way with 16 assists and
Kendall Herrick had 14.
McWaters recorded seven of DePauw's 11 service aces, while
Grace Myers finished with 23 digs and
Jen Proeh had two block solos and two block assists.
Rean Ward led Blackburn with five kills with Kenadee Frey finishing with 14 assists and 10 digs. Rylea Black had two block assists.
DePauw outhit the Beavers, .255-.044, and held a 38-22 edge in kills. The Tigers led in aces, 11-3, and had four blocks to Blackburn's two.
The Tigers face Albion at 10 a.m. tomorrow and 19th-ranked Otterbein at Noon.
