Granville, Ohio - DePauw shot a 588 (296-292) and finished fifth among 11 teams at the Ted Barclay Invitational. John Carroll won with a 574 (287-287), while Wittenberg was second with a 579 (294-285), Otterbein was third at 583 (294-289) and Denison fourth with a 586 (294-292).
Joe Murdock led the Tigers with a 144 (70-74) to finish in a tie for fourth, while
Connor Byon tied for 11th at 146 (70-76) and
Tanner Austin tied for 20th at 148 (76-72).
Nolan Hall tied for 40th with a 155 (85-70) and
Ian Perry tied for 49th with a 158 (80-78).
Playing as individuals,
Andrew Wall tied for 20th with a 148 (75-73) and
Luke Royer was 38th at 153 (78-75).
John Carroll's Justy VonLehmden was the medalist with a 142 (69-73).
Byon led the field with 10 birdies, while Murdock finished with seven. Hall was one of five players with one eagle.
DePauw returns to action Sept. 19-20 at the Midwest Region Classic at the Brighton Dale Golf Course in Kansasville, Wis.
