Granville, Ohio – The Tigers fall to #11 Shenandoah 4-0 in season opener.
Shenandoah struck early, finding the back of the net in the 3rd minute and following up shortly five minutes later with their second goal of the game. In the second quarter, the hornets went up 3-0 against the Tigers, dominating offensively.
Sophie Flynn gave the Tigers their best chance at scoring in the 42nd minute of the game, shooting just wide of the net.
After going scoreless in the third, the Hornets secured another goal with nearly a minute remaining in regulation.
Shenandoah outshot DePauw 8-1, and tallied 12-3 penalty corners.
The Tigers will return to action tomorrow in Granville, Ohio to face Lynchburg at 2 pm.
