Gambier, Ohio - DePauw's season came to a close in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals as the third-seeded Tigers lost to second-seed Denison by a 4-1 score.
Denison won the doubles point after Maia Nowicki and Peyton Oda took a 6-1 win over
Ellen Gardner and
Kassie Green before Charlotte Johns and Caroline Lopez topped
Valerie Doherty and
Allie Stamm, 6-2.
Caitlin VanWinkle's 6-1, 6-2 victory over Gardner gave Denison a 2-0 lead with Dasha Chistyakova extending it with a 6-1, 7-5 win over Doherty.
Kassie Green's 6-3, 6-4 win over Oda put the Tigers on the board before Lopez clinched the win for the Big Red with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Stamm.
The Tigers finished the season at 12-10, while the 26th-ranked Big Red improved to 16-6.
