Oberlin, Ohio - Oberlin scored the game's first 11 goals and held DePauw scoreless until the fourth period on the way to a 13-2 North Coast Athletic Conference victory over the Tigers. DePauw finished the season with a 5-10 overall record and a 2-6 NCAC mark, while the Yeomen improved to 11-4 overall and 5-3 in conference play.
Oscar Kokke and
Henry White each scored in the fourth for the Tigers. Nicholas Cuda led Oberlin with three goals with four different Yeomen collecting two each.
Brody Carlson led DePauw with four ground balls, while
Nolan Childs,
Jackson Lawrence and
Matthew Roman each caused two turnovers. Roman broke the Tigers' program record with his 260th career ground ball.
Evan Sardina won 13-of-14 faceoffs and led Oberlin with 10 ground balls. Gvin Girard and Colin Taylor caused four turnovers each.
Oberlin held a 60-14 edge in shots including 29-8 in shots on goal. The Yeomen also led in ground balls, 50-26, and won 16 of the 19 faceoffs.
