Oberlin, Ohio - DePauw moved its overall record to 10-7 and its North Coast Athletic Conference mark to 1-2 following a 6-1 win at Oberlin. The Yeomen dropped to 5-11 overall and 1-2 in conference play.
The Tigers opened by sweeping doubles play to earn the match's first point.
Finley Buelte and
Will Cramer defeated Brady Huggett and Shawn Lisann at the first spot by a 6-3 score.
Scott Anderson and
Roee Sela were 6-4 victors over Zain Makada and Enrique Margain at second doubles with the third doubles team of
Jake Louiselle and
Diego Marquez topping Oliver Knijnenburg and Max Brose by a 7-5 count.
DePauw wrapped up the win by taking five of the six singles matches. Buelte was a 6-4, 6-1 winner over Makada with Anderson defeating Margain at the second spot 6-4, 6-2.
Samuel Pia defeated Ben Tichauer at fourth singles by a 6-0, 6-1 score, while Marquez came back to beat Huggett at fifth singles 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 and
Grayson Zylstra defeating Knijnenburg at the sixth slot 6-2, 6-3.
The Tigers play at Wooster tomorrow in a 12:30 p.m. NCAC match.
