Katie Moore posted a personal-best 3,529 points in the pentathlon and earned second team all-America honors with a ninth-place finish. The total ranks second in DePauw history behind Courtney Lauer's 3,640. Nikki Boon of Emory won with 4,061 points.
Moore opened the competition with 875 points in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.17 seconds which was ninth. She then totaled 701 in the high jump with a best jump of 1.57 meters which was 11th.
In the shot put, she totaled 558 points with a mark of 10.43 meters which was 13th before garnering 645 points in the long jump at 5.31 meters for a 10th-place showing. She wrapped up the competition with 750 points in the 800 meters at 2:25.52 which was sixth.
Liberty Scott competed in the 60-meter hurdles and placed 17th with a prelim time of 8.90 seconds.
DePauw opens the outdoor season on Saturday, March 22, at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational which starts at Noon.
