Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw guard
Kyle Lillwitz (Sr., Lemont, Ill./Lemont) has been selected North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for his performance in DePauw's 76-70 win over Wooster.
Lillwitz, who missed Wednesday's game at Ohio Wesleyan due to injury, poured in a career-high 26 points as he connected on 9-of-15 field goals including 4-of-8 from 3-point range. He grabbed four rebounds and totaled two steals in the Tigers' victory. Lillwitz knocked down a three with 1:45 left to give DePauw a 75-70 lead and then converted a steal into a fast break dunk to put the Tigers ahead, 75-70, with 20 seconds remaining. This all came after his senior day celebration prior to the game.
DePauw opens NCAC Tournament play tonight with a 7 p.m. quarterfinal game at Ohio Wesleyan.
