DePauw Competes at Wittenberg; One Record Broken and Another Tied

Springfield, Ohio - In the final tuneup before the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, several members of the men's track anf field team competed at the Wittenberg Invite.

Highlighting the Tigers' performances was Matt Rowley's win in the 1,000 meters in 2:29.93. The 2:32.02 converted time (from a 300-meter to 200-meter track) broke the DePauw program record of 2:32.23 held by Simon Flory on February 21, 2004.

Jacob Sandlin finished second in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.37 seconds and his 8.32 prelim time tied the DePauw mark held by Daniel Jansen in 2024.
