Granville, Ohio - Through the first full day of competition at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, DePauw has totaled 282.5 points and is sixth among the nine competing schools. Denison leads with 716 points, followed by Kenyon (565), Wabash (416), Wooster (325) and Oberlin (324).
Leading the way was Wednesday's 200-yard medley of
Jeremy Stutzman,
Tyler Farkas,
James Shorney and
Michael Ray which finished fourth in 1:33.01. The 400 medley relay of Stutzman, Farkas, Shorney and Ray wrapped up Thursday's competition with a sixth-place showing in 3:27.87.
Shorney placed ninth in the 50 free in 20.89 seconds after going 20.70 in the prelims.
The Championships continue on Friday.
