Greencastle, In. - DePauw Field Hockey fell to Denison 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Reavis.
DePauw came out with offensive dominance, edging Denision 3-0 in shots in addition to two penalty corners. Coming back for the second period, Big Red claimed their first goal of the game to turn the tables on the Tigers.
Denison carried their energy into the second half tallying one point for each remaining quarter, finishing the game 3-0. Big Red's Emma Gebhart, tallied each goal of the game to claim a hat trick on the day. Two of the goals were assisted by Kathleen Keil.
Tea Jerro made six saves in goal for the Tigers.
Maggie Volpe led the Tigers with three shots, two on goal.
With this loss, the Tigers fall to 7-4 (3-1) and Denison goes undefeated in conference play 7-5 (5-0).
DePauw will look to rebound when they hit the road Tuesday, October 14th for a 4 p.m. start against Wittenberg.
