Greencastle, Ind. - After DePauw closed Ohio Wesleyan's lead to two at the end of the third, the Battling Bishops scored the first six points of the fourth and held on for a 68-56 North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Tigers. DePauw dropped to 11-5 overall and 5-1 in the NCAC, while the Battling Bishops, ranked 14th by D3hoops.com and 17th in the latest coaches' poll, improved to 15-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play. The loss snapped DePauw's 62-game NCAC regular season home streak which dated back to January 2016.
In a fast-paced first period, Ohio Wesleyan took a 26-21 lead. The Tigers evened the score at 30-30, but the Battling Bishops took a 36-33 halftime advantage.
The Battling Bishops expanded their lead to 46-38 with 4:42 left in the third, but an 8-2 DePauw run cut the Ohio Wesleyan lead to 48-46 after three periods.
Ohio Wesleyan scored on its first three possessions of the fourth to push the lead to 54-46, while DePauw was whistled for an offensive foul and committed a turnover. The lead reached 10 before

Riley Mont made a pair of free throws to cut the Battling Bishops' lead to 58-53.
DePauw missed on its next two possessions, while Ohio Wesleyan hit two field goals and a pair of free throws to make it 64-53 with 1:58 remaining.
Lily Huntzinger's career-high 17 points led DePauw, while
Olivia Hart finished with 11 and McGinley 10. Mont grabbed seven rebounds and shared the assists lead with Hassel as each had six.
Kasey Schipfer led Ohio Wesleyan with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Elizabeth Homan followed with 15 points and Macy Miller 14. Karlee Ross, Lauren Denison and Chelsea Egington each totaled four assists.
The Tigers shot 32.1 percent from the field to Ohio Wesleyan's 51.9 percent and the Tigers held a 33-29 rebounding advantage.
DePauw travels to Wooster on Saturday, Jan. 25, for a 1 p.m. NCAC game.
