DePauw Defeats Franklin on the Road

Franklin, Ind.- The DePauw men's swimming team recorded its second win in a row after defeating the Franklin College Grizzlies 174-88 on the road. The Tigers tallied nine first-place finishes and totaled 26 top-three finishes across the afternoon.
 
Leading the Tigers to victory was sophomore Tyler Farkas, who earned two first-place finishes and a second-place finish. Farkas took first in the 100 and 200  breaststroke and earned his second-place finish in the 50 free. Alexander Bridgmohan, Aaron Graff, Brock Kinnamon, and John Marshall claimed three more first-place finishes for DePauw. Bridgmohan took first in the 1000 free (10:31.14), and Graff swam the 200 IM in 2:03.78 for first place. Kinnamon finished first in the 200 fly, while Marshall tacked on another first-place finish in the 100 fly.
 
Rounding out the Tigers' first-place finishes, James Shorney swam the 100 Free in 47 flat for first place and the last leg of the 200 free relay along with Michael Ray, Brock Kinnamon, and  Jimmy Anderson with a final time of 1:26.76. Rounding out the first-place finishers were Jeremy Stutzman, Farkas, Marshall, and Kinnamon, who swam the 400 medley relay in 3:38.03 for first.
