Wooster, Ohio- Â The DePauw women's tennis team fell to top-seeded Kenyon College 5-0 in its North Coast Athletic Conference Semifinals matchup. The Tigers finished the season with an overall record of 12-9, while the Owls improved to 13-6.
Kenyon jumped onto the board first when Eleni Dakos and Shadia AmadoAguad defeated DePauw's Valerie Doherty and Kat Wilder 8-3 on court two. The Owls would take court one after Eleni Lazaridou and Allaire Berl beat Ellen Gardner and Kassie Green 8-4. Kenyon would complete the doubles sweep on court three when Ana Brand and Lalasa Nagireddy defeated Katie King and Alex Preston 8-3.
In singles play, Ellen Gardner fell to Eleni Lazaridou 6-0, 6-0 on court one, and on court three, the Owls Shadia AmadoAguad clinched the win for Kenyon after beating Valerie Dohert 6-1, 6-1. The Tigers finished the season with an overall record of 12-9, while the Owls improved to 13-6.
