Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw third baseman Emily Timberman (Sr., Fishers, Ind./Cathedral) and first baseman Katie Mathies (Jr., Shelbyville, Ind./Shelbyville) have been selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region VII Team.

Timberman earned first team honors and finished the season with a .448 batting average while tying the program's single-season home run record with 14. She also drove in 50 runs and set the program single-season record with an .848 slugging percentage. She was a first team all-North Coast Athletic Conference selection earlier this month.

Mathies was chosen to the third team and finished the season with a .401 batting average with seven homers and 47 RBI. She had a team-high 17 doubles and slugged .723. Mathies also was a first team all-NCAC choice.

DePauw finished the season with a 30-16-1 overall record including a record ninth NCAC regular season title and a record seventh NCAC Tournament championship. The Tigers advanced to the championship game of the NCAA Division III regional round.
