Box Score Greencastle, Ind.-  The DePauw women's tennis team jumped back into the winners column after defeating the Oberlin College Yeowomen 8-1 to open conference play. The Tigers move to 9-5 and are 1-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play, while the Yeowomen drop to 1-11 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
 
The Tigers found their swing early, winning all three doubles matches. On court three, Katie King and Alex Preston defeated Moe Ariyoshu and Robyn Gurujal 8-0, followed by a win on court two by Valerie Doherty and Kat Wilder, beating Oberlin's Freya Rahm and Anna Pastore 8-2. Ellen Gardner and Kassie Green completed the doubles sweep after defeating the Yeowomen's Lydia Zafeiri and Amelia Bronfman 8-3 on court one.
 
DePauw would quickly clinch the match after Bella DeNardo shut out Robyn Gurujal 6-0, 6-0 on court six, followed by a quick 6-0, 6-1, win on court five by Kat Wilder over Moe Ariyoshu. Valerie Doherty would get on the board after defeating Freya Rahm 6-3, 6-0 on court three, and on court four, Katie King beat Ameilia Bronfman 6-2, 6-1. Kassie Green would secure the Tigers' final win of the day with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over the Yeowomen's Lydia Zafeiri. Earning Oberlin's lone win of the morning, Anna Pastore beat Ellen Gardner 6-4, 6-2 on court one.
 
The Tigers' next match is Sunday, April 7, at 9 a.m. against the College of Wooster.
